Christmas in July II

"Time is up, stop what ever you are doing." a well known line for all the cooking/fashion/other competition show out there. It played in my head ever since I started this Christmas in July project. And now that is almost the last day or the last day for other time zones, I felt its power over me. The project was completed a few days ago, but the race is not over without a presentation. Side note: the spine and covers are still under construction but that is only because I needed some very special supplies to finish it.

One of the first pages that presented some sort of decision to be made. To fussy cut or not to fussy cut? The resolution came to me when I was in a terrible hurry to get this page done. One cut, one pocket. Will see how everything else will fit on the page.

Another Cream and Green duo. Should I add some red or dark brown for contrast or just keep it light?

Not short on color and pattern for this page.

Simply JOY.

Holly and poinsettias are the traditional plants of Christmas (at least in the US). I wonder how that came to be? It will give me a research topic for this page.

More like a picnic cloth than a Christmas pattern. That means no guilt in covering it all up with photos and embellishments.

This I know for sure it will be December 25th page. Quite obvious.

That is all for this project. If you want to see more of it, come back on December 1st for a 25 days of Christmas marathon.

There will be no posts during August, or at least I have not planned anything. Will see where inspiration will take me this summer.

See you soon.
